Kaylei McGaw is a multidisciplinary prop stylist, set decorator, and designer. After earning a degree in apparel and textile design Kaylei moved to New York City to assist renowned fashion stylist Lori Goldstein. She apprenticed at the atelier of Christy Rilling, assisting with haute couture fittings for the MET Gala. Here, Kaylei got an up-close experience with luxury products and impeccable design details, growing her appreciation of handmade artwork and custom treatments. She learned how style is expressed beyond clothing- enveloping all aspects of one's lifestyle; how you live, how you care for yourself. Eager to explore other facets of lifestyle design, Kaylei transitioned to the world of interiors. As an editor at Lonny magazine, Kaylei wrote, produced and prop styled home features and instructional interior-decorating videos. Kaylei's creative problem solving, taste level, and eye for detail has caught the attention of a broad range of clients and led to many exciting opportunities, including a year in Melbourne, Australia where she instructed a university prop styling class. In 2017 Kaylei relocated to a sunny studio outside of Boston where she collects and prepares materials for her projects. Kaylei continues to serve clients in New England, New York, and worldwide.
